Q. Are there upfront costs to getting a plan room?

A. There are no upfont costs. Most company's qualify for a planroom. Contact us for details.

Q. What kind of commitment do we need to make?

A. There is no commitment. Our basic planroom is free.

Q. Is there a charge to view the plans?

A. There is no charge for viewing plans. We provide Open Source viewing, no registration, no special software, no charge to view.

Q. We have our own website. What do we do?

A. We can add a link from your website to your own dedicated space on PlanroomDirect. It will be seamless. In fact, we can drop users directly into your area thus skipping our front page. Users will be unaware that they have left your site.

Q. Are we required to order printed plans from Planroom Direct?

A. No. We think you and your subs will find our prices and service beneficial. However, there is no obligation to place print orders through PlanroomDirect.

Q. Do we need IT people in our office to program our plan room?

A. Absolutely not. We handle the set-up and posting of all projects to your planroom. However, if you prefer we can provide access for you to upload, edit and delete your own projects.

Q. How do we get our plans to you?

A. We provide simple drag and drop transfer of large files to our site. We will walk you through the process. Plans can also be sent on CD or even hard copy in some instances. Project data can also be uploaded directly into your planroom if you request that access.

Q. Will this slow down our office computers?

A. No. All files are stored and viewed using our servers. So you benefit from our super high speed connections. We do not use any part of your computers or internet connections.

Q. How long does it take for plans to render on the screen.

A. Planroom Direct sends out the data at the highest speed possible, using our massive bandwidth capabilities. Companies that have at least 3mb DSL will see plan pages render almost instantly.

Q.What about passwords or private projects?

A. We have both covered. You can restrict access to your entire planroom with a username and password and/or you can require a username and password for individual projects within your planroom.
